Covid Update

In Response to Local And State Government Directives Concerning COVID-19 And Personal Care Services:

Stript Wax Bar takes the health and safety of our staff, guests and community as our main priority while still offering and providing quality services during our current times.  As personal care services and our businesses begin to re-open we will adhere to all local and goverment directives regarding COVID-19.

As part of our response to these efforts we have implemented the following policies and procedures in our stores to help maintain the best environment for our staff and guests:

Enhanced Cleaning and Sanitation Procedures:

• Treatment rooms cleaned and sanitized between each guest

• Surfaces throuroughly wiped and disinfected multiple times a day

• Treatment rooms equiped with HEPA air purifiers, UV light purifier and sanitizers, and hand sanitizer

• Single use and disposable supplies for services

• Gloves, masks, face shields and disposable aprons worn by treatment professionals

• Removal of all communal product testers

• Removal of paper items such as magazines and brochures with online resources for service options

• Online Booking and paperless/touchless check out with credit card on file

Client Guidelines:

• Mask/facial covering to be worn by clients at all times 

• Hand sanitizer available for use throughout our stores

• Temperature screening upon arrival for services

• Please refrain from coming to your appointment if you are not feeling well or have a temperature, we will be happy to reschedule your appointment to a new date and time.

• Client questionnaire before your appointment conforming to state/local guidelines

• Waiting outside or in your car before your appointment as our in-store waiting area is currently closed

• No food or beverages will be allowed in store

Social Distancing:

​Due to social distancing orders we will apply the following procedures:

• Our in store waiting area will be closed until social distancing guidelines are changed

• Please come to your appointment alone and wait outside at your appointment time

• Plexiglass dividers will be installed at reception area 

• Please maintain a 6 foot distance when not receiving a service

Verbal Screening before your appointment:

If required by local directives we will do a verbal screening before each appointment including the following:

1. If you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days

2. If you have come into close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days

3. Feel or recently felt feverish

4. Have or recently had any other COVID-19 symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, tiredness, chills, headaches, muscle/body aches, confusion, or loss of taste/smell.
